The Accidental Chef
The Accidental Chef is the personal food blog of Anna Papoutsakis. The blog is named after Anna’s autobiographical food memoir and masters thesis of the same title. The Accidental Chef is divided into four main categories, “Chef’s Journal,” “What the???,” “What’s Cooking,” and “The Accidental Pantry Project,” all of which can be further explored by clicking on the tabs above.
About Anna
A self-proclaimed “Sister of the Service Industry,” Anna Papoutsakis is a graduate of Johnson and Wales University (AS Hotel-Restaurant Management, AAS Culinary Arts, BS Food Service Management) and William Paterson University of New Jersey (MA English). Her first love is food, which has been demonstrated by her many years spent working front and back of house positions in restaurants, bars, and catering facilities. Anna is also freelance writer based in New York/Northern New Jersey. She was a ghost writer for Disney’s former newsletter Ideal Bite , a food stylist for the Food Network, was an Editorial and Research Assistant for Saveur magazine, the Events Editor for The Food Section, and the Owner and Editor of Party Remedies.
Currently, Anna is serving clients as a real estate agent at Keller Williams Valley Realty, licensed in New Jersey and New York.
